School Tours
Tours of the school will be available by appointment only. Please contact the School Office at 216.662.9380 to schedule a tour.
Initial documentation
To begin the application process please read and submit the following forms/documents on behalf of each applicant.
Review Process
The administration will review the application once all of the above documentation has been submitted. To be considered for admission we look for students who are successful in their current academic environments; who conduct themselves in a manner fitting with the St. Benedict Catholic School behavioral standards; and whose parents/guardians are invested in the education process.
Principal Meeting
The school principal, Mrs. Lisa Oriti, will host scheduled tours with each applicant and family, during which you can ask questions and get an in-depth look at the opportunities a St. Benedict Catholic School education can offer your child. Please call the school office to schedule a tour.
Screening
Applicants for Grades 1 through 8 take a grade-level entrance assessment specifically designed to assess aptitude in Language Arts and Math.
Student Visit
Students applying for Grades 2 to 8 spend a day shadowing. Arrangements will be made through the main office.
Enrollment Decision
After the student has completed the above steps, the application will be evaluated and an enrollment decision will be made. As a Catholic school, our priority is to first select qualified candidates of the Catholic faith. It is possible that a student may be put on a waitlist for classes that are at or near capacity, and parish families have first priority in cases where class space is limited.
Registration
If your child is accepted, you will receive a packet of registration materials that must be completed and submitted to the school office, along with a $150 Registration Fee, to secure your space.
