Preparing students to enter STEM careers in the future is not enough. The integration of Religion and the Arts into STEM content areas merges 21st century teaching and learning with the timeless truths of faith and beauty in all of the subject areas.
Students begin the school year with a bang and digital citizenship activities. Students learned things like; Media Balance, Cyberbullying, Social Media and Reading News Online. Teaching digital citizenship prepares students to navigate a technology-driven future where their interactions through online platforms and social media will influence their success in society. Preparing students to succeed in their future endeavors is our primary goal as educators.
In addition to digital citizenship the 8th grade is learning about prototypes. Eventually they will use Tinkercad to create something that students can use to make remote learning easier. I will then print the design with our NEW 3D Printer.
